Phantom MeshLock screens build on the simplicity of the Legacy system, adding a secured edge retention system that captures the screen within the top and bottom tracks—resulting in a tighter, more controlled screen ideal for situations where a standard Legacy screen may not provide enough containment.

Like all Phantom systems, MeshLock screens retract cleanly into a low-profile housing when not in use, preserving the look of your home. ‘When you need them, they provide reliable insect protection along with positive latching (at top and bottom) for more demanding applications.

MeshLock screens are especially well-suited for homes where high-wind conditions and/or pets are a concern. While a larger, determined pet can get through just about any screen, MeshLock screens prevent small to medium-sized furry family members from innocently nosing their way to freedom under a traditional Legacy (which is intentionally engineered with a healthy amount of play).

Because of its reinforced design, MeshLock systems are slightly more expensive and require a bit more upkeep/cleanliness than a Legacy screen. Simply put, MeshLock Screens are the right choice when you need a little more control and containment—without sacrificing the clean design.
